1. Cheating & Exploits

1.1 Disallowed Modifications

Modifications¹ which give or attempt to give the player an unfair advantage are strictly prohibited.

This rule does not apply to:

• Minecraft Access
• Any mods in the Visually Impaired Access Mods modpack
• Any part of the vanilla game including the f3 menu, hitbox outlines, or chunk boarder overlays are not considered to be modifications
• Any modifications which are purely asthetic, including but not limited to:
  • Shaders
  • Resource packs which modify sound, text, or textures excluding any which make normally opaque blocks transparent (e.g. X-Ray)
• Optimization mods, provided that they do not modify the behaviour of the base game in any meaningful way
• Quality of life mods, provided that they do not allow for anything that would normally be impossible in an unmodified game (e.g. placing blocks faster than usual or in otherwise invalid places), or provide any other unfair advantage. Permitted QoL features include but are not limited to:
  • Armour and status HUDs
  • Minimaps, provided that they do not show players or caves which are otherwise hidden

1.2 Exploits

Taking advantage of exploits, bugs, any other obvious technical oversight, or otherwise circumventing is strictly prohibited and will result in a permenent ban.

Any exploits should be immediately reported to admins, see Appeals & Reports.

1.3 Alternative Accounts

Each player may play with at most 1 (ONE) fully licenced Minecraft account, any additional accounts or any cracked accounts may be banned. Attempting to use an alternative account to circumvent any punishment may result in all associated accounts being permenently banned.

1.4 Lag & Disruption to Services

Intentionally causing lag or other disruption to the server or related services is strictly prohibited.

2. Behaviour & Chat

2.1 NSFW Content

Any mention of or reference to anything that could be considered NSFW (not safe for work/adult) in any way, shape, or form is strictly forbidden.

2.2 Links

While sending links isn’t itself disallowed, any malicious or fraudulent links are strictly forbidden.

Asking someone to search/Google something specific or otherwise go to a specific web page is also considered a link.

2.3 Spam & Advertising

Any excessive disruptive behaviour including chat messages, excessive unsolicited private communications, or unsolicited promotion of or links to anything not endorsed by server staff is prohibited.

2.4 Disrespectful Conduct

All players are expected to respect one another at all times. Any disrespectful or discriminatory conduct will not be tolerated.

2.5 Revealing Personal Information

Revealing or threatening to reveal personal information about other players is strictly forbidden.

Enforcement

Staff members reserve the right to take any action deemed appropriate against any player for any reason. Exact punishments may vary. Staff also reserve the right to update this rules list at anytime on condition that staff will notify players via the Discord server when updates occur, and continuing to engage with the server in any way after any such update takes place indicates your agreement with the updated guidelines.

Appeals & Reports

If you believe that a punishment has been made in error, would like to appeal a punishment, or would like to report another player, bug, or exploit, please create a ticket in the #mc-server-info channel of our Discord server.
